Guangzhou Zengcheng Sludge Carbonization Project

Dingjiu Environment's landmark project inside the Zhongxin下沉式再生水厂 in Zengcheng, Guangzhou. Using integrated sludge continuous drying and carbonization technology, it achieves on-site sludge resource recovery with low operating costs and near-zero emissions. The core of this project is an innovative process of "plate and frame deep dewatering + integrated sludge continuous drying and carbonization". By achieving oxygen-free carbonization within the integrated equipment, sludge is efficiently reduced in volume, thoroughly detoxified, and fully valorized. This not only eliminates secondary pollution that traditional disposal methods may cause from the source, but also efficiently converts waste sludge into high-value biochar for coal blending and nutrient soil mixing, truly turning waste into treasure and perfectly integrating into circular economy. The successful operation of the Guangzhou Zengcheng project strongly demonstrates the economy, advancement, and environmental friendliness of Dingjiu Environment's integrated sludge continuous drying and carbonization technology in supporting large-scale underslung water reclamation plants, serving as an exemplary case of the company's technology contributing to the construction of a zero-waste city in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
