To implement and interpret sludge treatment related policies, help users understand the current sludge treatment technology and industry status, development trends, and build exchange channels, the "2018 National Sludge Treatment, Disposal, and Resource Utilization Technology Application Exchange Conference" was held in Changsha from September 19 to 21, 2018.
The final session of the conference was organized by the conference committee, which led approximately 110 experts and attendees to visit the sludge carbonization treatment, disposal, and resource recycling project at the Chengbei Wastewater Treatment Plant of Hunan Dingjiu Energy & Environment Technology Co., Ltd., an excellent enterprise in sludge treatment and disposal.
Mr. Jiang Liangjun, General Manager of Dingjiu Environment, stood beside the equipment and patiently explained the structure and principles of the company's integrated sludge continuous carbonization equipment to the experts and attendees who came for the visit, including Professor-level Senior Engineer Zhu Yanbo from Tianjin Capital Environmental Protection Group Co., Ltd., and Professor Yang Changming from Tongji University. The experts praised the integrated sludge continuous carbonization technology and highly recognized its development prospects.
Wang Yajie, Deputy General Manager of the company, carefully explained to the persons in charge who came to inspect from Yantai Rundu Waste Treatment Operation Co., Ltd., Jiangsu Zhongfa Water Co., Ltd., Tianjin Saihong Environmental Engineering Co., Ltd., Guangzhou Yanhua Environmental Technology Co., Ltd., and other companies the freshly produced biochar products that were still steaming. After sludge is treated by the integrated sludge continuous pyrolysis carbonization furnace independently developed and produced by Dingjiu Environment, it can be turned into treasure and become biochar products. Biochar products can be used as carbon-based fertilizer, raw materials for soil remediation agents, water purification adsorbent materials, and insulation materials for steel plants, with wide market applications.
Afterwards, the visiting and inspection team, together with General Manager Jiang and General Manager Wang of Dingjiu Environment, visited the control platform, electrical control room, sludge filter press dewatering equipment, sludge silo, sludge conditioning treatment equipment, and other areas of the sludge carbonization project.
Finally, some members of the visiting delegation expressed the need for further exchange, hoping to facilitate cooperation as soon as possible, actively promote the implementation of cooperative projects, and achieve mutual win-win.
