1. Qualification project for sludge outsourcing and disposal services at Kaiping Jingtou Wastewater Treatment Plant (2017-2018)

Project overview: The service scope is the sludge generated during the wastewater purification process at the Kaiping Jingtou Wastewater Treatment Plant. The sludge disposal adopts fertilizer-making method and meets the national environmental protection requirements of harmlessness, naturalization, and reduction.

Project overview: Responsible for receiving, transporting, and disposing of sludge from 6 water quality purification plants in the eastern urban area of Zhuhai that needs to be treated due to the suspension of the Zhuhai North District Sludge Disposal Center, or excess sludge beyond the disposal capacity of the North District Sludge Disposal Center [The Zhuhai North District Sludge Disposal Center was under technical renovation before August 2017 and did not receive or dispose of sludge; approximately 300 tons of sludge needed to be (off-site) disposed of daily. 6. Yichang Central Urban Area Sludge Drying Treatment Project PPP Project

Project overview:

The planned disposal capacity of the project is 360 tons/day, constructed in two phases. The first phase constructs a disposal capacity of 180 tons/day (with a moisture content of about 80%). The main construction contents include: office buildings, treatment workshops and equipment (including sludge testing equipment), as well as necessary auxiliary buildings and facilities in the plant area. The specific construction content and standards shall be provided by the social capital in the bid according to national and industry specifications and standards as design proposals. The process route is recommended to adopt the two-stage drying combination process of "mechanical dewatering + thermal drying". Bidders may also adopt other process routes that meet national and industry policies and standards. The design adopted process route must effectively comprehensively utilize sludge, achieve sludge reduction, resource utilization, harmlessness, and stabilization, and the moisture content of treated sludge shall be ≤40%. The disposal method of dried sludge is cement kiln incineration, and sanitary landfill may be used as an emergency.

7. Service project for subsequent transportation, treatment and disposal of sludge from urban sewage treatment plants in Gaoming District

Project overview: The bidder is responsible for transporting sludge with a moisture content ≤80% directly from each sewage treatment plant to a treatment site for harmless treatment, and for subsequent transportation and treatment/disposal of the sludge to achieve stabilization and harmlessness of sewage treatment plant sludge. The first sewage plant in the central urban area is approximately 45 tons/day, the second sewage plant in the central urban area is approximately 25 tons/day, the third sewage plant in the central urban area is approximately 15 tons/day, Yanghe sewage plant is approximately 3 tons/day, Mingcheng sewage plant is approximately 1.5 tons/day, and the Genghe town sewage plant has basically not dewatered its sludge. The Fuwang sewage treatment plant, which may become operational in the next two years, has a wastewater treatment scale of approximately 15,000 tons/day and is currently in trial operation without sludge dewatering.
