On December 12，the 2018 China Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition (Hunan Province) and Hunan Province Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition, Hunan Innovation Challenge Award Ceremony was held in Changsha, where Vice Governor Chen Fei attended and presented awards to the first prize winners of the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition.Lu Xianhua, member of the Party Leadership Group and Deputy Director of the Provincial Science and Technology Department, and Zhu Wan, Deputy Director, attended the ceremony and presented awards.
After fierce competition, the Hunan Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition finally selected one first prize each for the start-up enterprise group, the growth enterprise group, and the team group, two second prizes each, three third prizes each, and one most popular award. Among them, Yueyang HIT Tefei Marine Equipment Technology Co., Ltd. won the first prize in the start-up group, Changsha Duzheng Biotechnology Co., Ltd. won the first prize in the growth group, and AI Plus ++ won the first prize in the team group. The Hunan Innovation Challenge finally selected Niu Chenggang's team from the College of Environmental Science and Engineering of Hunan University and Jiang Liangjun from Hunan Dingjiu Energy & Environment Technology Co., Ltd. to receive the "Golden Idea Award", and five teams including Yang Hai's team from Hunan Institute of Engineering received the "Excellence Award". At the award ceremony, signing agreements between investment institutions and enterprises, credit agreement signing between Bank of Changsha and enterprises, and intentional signing of technology contracts were also held.
In recent years, our province has focused on implementing four major projects: "regional major science and technology projects", "talent aggregation projects", "innovation environment construction projects", and "self-created zone core demonstration and leading projects", comprehensively building a multi-level innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem with complete elements and efficient operation, providing enterprises with an ideal "dream factory", and the vitality of entrepreneurship and innovation has burst forth. The province has built 74 technology business incubators, 157 maker spaces at or above the provincial level, and a "one-stop" open sharing service platform for scientific research facilities and instruments. In the past five years, the province has registered a total of 19,000 technology contracts, with a transaction volume of 38.5 billion yuan. With the coordinated efforts of all parties, the atmosphere of innovation and entrepreneurship in Hunan is increasingly strong, and the innovation and entrepreneurship environment has been continuously optimized.
