On the afternoon of January 14, Changsha Economic and Technological Development Zone welcomed a group of international friends - the Ethiopian delegation. Led by Vice President Armeri of the Ethiopian Industrial Parks Development Corporation, a 20-member Ethiopian delegation comprising the Ethiopian Electric Power Corporation, Ethio Telecom, Adama City Government, Adama Science and Technology University, and MH Engineering Company conducted a friendly visit to the Changsha Economic and Technological Development Zone.
On the morning of January 16, the Ethiopian business delegation visited the Changsha North Wastewater Treatment Plant and inspected the sludge carbonization and resource utilization project site of Hunan Dingjiu Energy & Environment Technology Co., Ltd.
The delegation members viewed the sludge carbonization equipment independently developed by Dingjiu Environment and the entire process flow of deep sludge dewatering and carbonization. They showed great interest, inquiring about the technical principles of the sludge carbonization equipment, industry prospects, daily sludge processing capacity, power consumption, fuel consumption, and other key parameters and indicators.
The Ethiopian business delegation visited the central control room of Dingjiu Environment's sludge carbonization project at the North Wastewater Treatment Plant. They highly appreciated the company's fully automated PLC control system, which allows setting different parameters at each stage of the process to achieve various control methods, thus ensuring the quality of the biochar products.
Finally, accompanied by Dingjiu Environment's Operations Director Ma Guiquan, the delegation visited the equipment discharge area. Seeing how smelly and dirty sludge was transformed into environmentally friendly biochar through closed high-temperature carbonization in the sludge carbonization equipment, the delegation members couldn't help taking out their phones to take photos of the freshly produced steaming biochar. They remarked: "Dingjiu Environment has truly achieved zero environmental pollution, engaging in a truly remarkable undertaking. We look forward to building wastewater treatment plants in our country soon and introducing Dingjiu Environment's advanced sludge carbonization equipment."
