Dingjiu Environment's Sludge Carbonization and Resource Utilization Project Site<\/span><\/span>

In late September 2018, about two months after the successful commissioning of the first commercial project of Hunan Dingjiu Energy & Environment Technology Co., Ltd., a group of leaders including Yuan Zhao, Member of the Party Working Committee and Deputy Director of the Management Committee of Changsha Economic and Technological Development Zone (CETDZ), Li Qiaolan, Director of the Construction and Development Bureau of CETDZ Management Committee, Yuan Dawei, Director of the Chief Engineer Office of the Construction and Development Bureau of CETDZ Management Committee, Tan Chaogang, Deputy Team Leader of the Preparation Group of Changsha Economic and Technological Development Zone Group Co., Ltd., Huang Hongqi, General Manager of Changsha Economic and Technological Development Zone Water Quality Purification Engineering Co., Ltd., Li Jingfeng, Plant Manager of Changsha Economic and Technological Development Zone Chengbei Sewage Treatment Plant, and Zeng Tao, Deputy Director of Changsha Economic and Technological Development Zone Water Quality Purification Engineering Co., Ltd., visited the site for inspection and guidance.<\/div>

The leaders inspected the Dingjiu Environment's sludge carbonization equipment and the entire sludge resource utilization and disposal process, as well as the central control room. They witnessed the entire process from sludge feeding, to high-temperature closed carbonization, to discharging. Finally, they visited the equipment discharge outlet and observed the fresh biochar. They highly praised Dingjiu Environment for its fully independently developed sludge carbonization equipment, which can reduce sludge volume to about 10%, completely eliminate the sludge form, and turn it into a useful biochar product that is environmentally friendly.<\/div>

The leaders also said, "Research and development work initially faces various pressures. It is not easy for Dingjiu Environment to have reached this point with commercial projects up and running smoothly.
