Focus on Environmental Protection, Global Perspective, Dingjiu Environment Blooms in the 'Rong' City — The 15th CDEPE Chengdu International Environmental Protection Expo 2019

The 15th CDEPE Chengdu International Environmental Protection Expo was held on March 21-23, 2019 at the Century City New International Convention and Exhibition Center in Chengdu. The total exhibition scale reached 35,000 square meters, with more than 400 international and domestic exhibitors and co-exhibitors, and over 22,000 professional visitors. It featured international and local pavilions, and special exhibition areas for water treatment, solid waste, air, ecological restoration, and environmental monitoring, making it an indispensable exchange platform for environmental protection enterprises at home and abroad to enter the central and western China environmental market.

The "2019 Chengdu International Environmental Protection Expo" (abbreviated as CDEPE2019) was guided by the China Association of Environmental Protection Industry, IEG Italian Exhibition Group (Italy's largest exhibition group), the Consulate General of Italy in Chongqing, and the Consulate General of Canada in Chongqing. It was hosted by the Sichuan Environmental Protection Industry Association and Chengdu Huayi Zhonglian Exhibition Co., Ltd. (a Sino-Italian joint venture), and co-organized by the Sichuan Society for Environmental Sciences, Sichuan Energy Conservation Association, Chengdu Environmental Protection Industry Association, Chengdu Surface Engineering Industry Association, among others. The organizing committee specially invited the Italian Ministry of Environment, Land and Sea, the Italian Consulate General in Chongqing, the China-Italy Chamber of Commerce, the China-Italy Environmental Protection Cooperation Project Management Office, the Italian Energy and Environment Global Exchange, as well as supervisory departments including the Sichuan Provincial Development and Reform Commission, the Provincial Economic and Information Commission, the Provincial Environmental Protection Department, the Chengdu Economic and Information Commission, the Chengdu Environmental Protection Bureau, the Chengdu Water Affairs Bureau, and the Chengdu Expo Bureau, to jointly support and assist in creating an environmental protection exhibition platform with considerable scale and high degree of internationalization in the central and western regions.

ECOMONDO brought many international exhibitors to CDEPE2019 and transmitted advanced environmental protection technologies and concepts to the Southwest China market. CDEPE is the largest environmental protection exposition in Southwest China and also a link between Southwest China and global green technology.

During the 2019 Chengdu International Environmental Protection Expo, more than 20 events and forums were held focusing on themes such as "solid waste", "renewable energy", "treatment of black and odorous water bodies", and "circular economy", showing diversified development in content. Hunan Dingjiu Energy & Environment Technology Co., Ltd., as an invited exhibitor at this international environmental protection expo, introduced to domestic and international audiences its core technology developed entirely in-house: the integrated continuous sludge carbonization technology and its resource utilization.

Experts and visitors engaged in in-depth exchanges with Dingjiu Environment's technical staff, expressing great appreciation for the integrated sludge continuous carbonization technology, which achieves "reduction, stabilization, harmlessness, and resource utilization." They also praised its high integration, high automation, high resource recycling value, low cost, and low operating costs. Many expressed their desire for Dingjiu Environment to implement demonstration projects in the Chengdu area as soon as possible, hoping for opportunities for collaboration.
